The Organisation
An expanded trade association for the Scottish salmon farming industry was created in 2006. The enhanced Scottish Salmon Producers' Organisation (SSPO) is responsible for representing the industry in political, regulatory, technical and media issues.
The expanded organisation has been created following an extensive period of discussion between the Boards of the then SSPO and Scottish Quality Salmon, as well as consultation within the industry.
