SSPO seeks European and Technical Manager

The new Scottish Salmon Producers’ Organisation is all about representing a unified industry, making sure it has a bright and successful future.

Applications are invited for the above position from suitably qualified and experienced individuals who can help to make that happen.

Leading on European matters but also working as a vital part of the technical team, the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of the Scottish Salmon farming industry particularly in the areas of food safety, fish health and associated environmental fields as well as a detailed knowledge of current European and UK legislation governing these areas.

An ability to communicate effectively with the media, industry and political audiences is also desirable.
